Overview

Overlooking the new multipurpose Dining Facility, Housing 1B (Glacier Point) provides additional undergraduate residential housing at UC Merced. LEED Gold was the design target.

The residence hall stands six stories tall and serves as a northern gateway to the residential areas along Academic Walk. Study rooms, lounge spaces, meeting areas and sheltered bike storage are available within the hall. Ground floor public spaces include classrooms and student life areas connected to the pedestrian circulation network.
