Overview
The Competition Soccer Field anchors UC Merced's athletics and recreation district and is located along the western edge of the campus. Positioning the field here provides direct access to parking, and to a shared plaza with the competition pool. The natural grade change along the length of the field has provided a dynamic approach to the field. Space was provided adjacent to the fields to enable bleacher seating.
