Overview
This building creates a relationship between the Academic Quad on its northern side and the natural landscape to the south.
The active program is clustered around activity nodes and interconnected outdoor spaces. These features support wayfinding and foster impromptu meetings and collaboration among students, faculty and staff. Exterior circulation shapes the pedestrian experience at the ground and upper levels facing the Academic Quad. This allows all levels of the building to participate in the campus experience and helps express the building’s function. Balconies and exterior gathering spaces mark major pedestrian pathways.
