Inspired by New Orleans artist Candy Chang's community chalkboard art, UC Merced student Perla Cerla led the creation of a giant construction fence chalkboard to provide a place for students to express what they will do when they graduate. This is displayed on the construction fencing between Science and Engineering 1 and the Beginnings sculpture.
