November 18, 2017: Bellevue Parking Lot Mass Notification Testing
The UC Merced Police Department will be testing the campus-wide external public announcement this Saturday, November 18th, 2017 between 9 AM and 10 AM. This test is to ensure the external public announcement system serving the new campus parking lot south of Bellevue Road is functional and that the system works with the exiting campus external public announcement system.
The messages will clearly indicate this it is only a test. No action is needed. In the event of a real emergency, specific instructions would be provided. For questions or comments, contact the Police Department at 209-228-2677 or at police@ucmerced.edu.
