Expanded Evolution Valley Parking Lot Now Open
Enables Construction of Student Housing on Former Mountain View and Little Lake Lots

The first phase of the Merced 2020 campus expansion will be complete in Fall 2018 and involves construction activity south of Little Lake.
Beginning Monday November 21st, the Evolution Valley Parking Lot will be expanded in order to enable construction activity on the Little Lake Lot and the Mountain View Lots - which will be the locations for future student housing opening in 2018. The expanded lot includes solar powered nighttime lighting.
To enable this work, parking spaces will be developed on a one-to-one replacement basis as the project proceeds.
- On Monday, November 21st, parking spaces will be added to the Evolution Valley Parking Lot. This will replace parking spaces displaced in the lot adjacent to Little Lake beginning November 19th.
- On Monday November 28th, an additional set of replacement spaces will be added to the Evolution Valley Parking Lot in order to enable construction on the Mountain View Lot.
We understand that these changes will impact you, as well as cause inconvenience. We greatly appreciate your patience as we do our best to accommodate the parking needs of the campus community during the construction period.
