Conceptual Rendering Highlights

The Master Plan: UC Merced has selected a developer to build the second phase of its campus. The rendering shows research labs arranged around a new quadrangle and a multifunction dining facility. The project includes 1.2 million gross square feet, 1,700 student beds, classrooms, recreation fields and a competition pool. |

Teaching and Research: The academic quad connects new faculty offices and research labs with the existing campus. |

Living and Learning: Mixed-use buildings along the Academic Walk include classrooms and meeting spaces on the ground floor and student housing above. |

Student Life and Dining: The central dining facility is a key hub for campus life and was anticipated for completion in Fall 2018. |
